The Grey Phenomenon
I am only half way thru the 2nd 'Grey' book by EL James and although I would stubbornly like to claim that I didn't need a kick in my sex life - that we are pretty solid, open to trying new things, that we understand each other and connect on many different levels - I have to admit that it definitely hasn't hurt any either.
My husband and I both wanted to know for ourselves what all the fuss was about, and since, it surely has at the very least set the stage for more free conversations about our needs, desires, fantasies. It has helped us explore just what spanking means in our home, the benefits of XXXXX-less panties, and so, so much more, oh my.
So again, not that we needed it per se, but anything that brings my honey and I closer, boosts my own sexual confidence, or makes the 'grey' in any relationship less shameful, than it's tops in my books (pardon the pun.)
PLG ~ thank you EL James! As an aspiring author and new mother, your words and success and story of your own are inspiring in more ways than one.

The end of an era...
Like many young girls, I yearned to be a part of the chic fashion world, long-legged and gorgeous, wearing Chanel, Valentino, Fendi, etc...
But fighting with my own insecurities and financial disparities, I briefly left the lure of that glorious world behind; intimidated and frightened by it, it only made me feel uglier, fatter, more non-fabulous, and painfully, more broke.
Recently however, I have fallen back in love with this glorious world full of imagination and talent, realizing you can have style and be fabulous, without having millions or being 6-feet tall. Style is something you feel. Helping me re-discover my passion for fashion, is greatly in part to the renown Canadian staple, Fashion Television, a favourite of mine since it's very first season. Seeing Jeanne peruse among some of the world's most talented and influential artists, creators never ceases to inspire me. I know there is controversy in the business and elite aspects of Fashion, but I choose to focus on the timeless beauty and marvel of what can be achieved and created if you allow yourself to go there...Jan. 10.2012~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
